Lewis Returns Home

Gavin Allen received a major boost to his squad last night when local hero Gari Lewis signed for the forthcoming season. The hard tackling midfielder, who is 12th on the all time Welsh premier league appearance list, pledged himself to Penrhyn after a lengthy spell with Aberystwyth and 1 season with Caersws. Lewis ,34,  has played over 350 times in the league of Wales and has also capped for Wales at youth level. He brings a wealth of experience to the side and will be a major influence to the younger players in the squad. Also putting pen to paper were, goalkeeper, Richard Morgan and Mark Gornall  who had a season with Bow Street in the spar Mid-Wales. The majority of last season’s players have re-signed with only James Shields being the main player to leave, he has decided to play for spar newcomers, Penparcau.
